I was definitely a tardy arrival to the Baroque Motifs bandwagon and I'm still capture up to everyone else! I made this quick card for today's featured stamper call to combat on SCS. It's based on this card by Jodi/Kharmagirl.

I started with Genuinely Pomegrantate for my card cheap--different than Jodi's ships base, but still a reaching far down, bold, moneyed color. I stamped the big whirl image in hoar craft ink and covered it with frosty embossing powder. I wish I could configuration out how to make my snowy embossing powder look impenetrable when it's heated. Mine always ends up looking kinda spotty. I had reasonable enough room to add a tender susceptibility in the bottom left crotch. That's another reason I pointed the Purely Pomegranate for the card cheap. I figured I could beat the sentiment in Basic Grizzled ink and it wouldn't be too much for the cardfront.
I loved Jodi's raised medallion bit on the front of the original card. I made a few adjustments to that pattern on my version. I replaced the chipboard fragment she used with a ash-colored scalloped plane figure with paper penetrating in the scallops. I stamped the round medallion-looking statue on Purely Pomegranate cardstock and again caloric embossed the statue with white embossing powder. I put a pellucid rhinestone brad through the center and attached it to the scalloped plane figure with a dimensional.
In lieu of attaching this fragment directly to the cardfront, I determined to make a paunch band and tack it to that. I ran a long scrap of Basic Ash-colored cardstock through my crimper...
