While reading through a few Google Alerts this first blush of the morning I came across Nellie's blog, (Teodo Linda of Appunti Piece had sent out an on the alert). With Nellie's leave I'm re-posting portions from her blog ........... a allegation for 'fabric hands' .
I am giving a palm and fingers to the project described below from LaGatta blog. She says:
My bound is to get as many hands as in posse to compose a big fresco for a dear companion. In order to get a beauteous fresco I want various fabrics and banner. And so there will be a sort of one, power and faculty of perception of whole coming from this operate. Somehow the only freedom is the alternative of fabric and color. No substance the quality of the fabric, no body whether it is new or used, what counts is to see through this project and to share for the pleasure of doing it.
Instructions:
Take a part of fabric, a material or a tinge that reminds of you.
On the back side of the fabric footprint the contour of your palm and fingers (right or left resembling you prefer).Then cut leaving from 5 to 8 cm (tad over 3 inches) for the arm.
Do not adorn with needle-work, do not embellish...
