I've been intent to do a red Cranach align for a while but have secretly also liked the verdant ones very much. Here's one of Judith that you can find all over the web, but here's my favourite, which I've only found as a thumbnail over at Frazzled Frau.

When rummaging my portable closet I stumbled upon this old align from the early days of my sewing adventures, in verdant velvet and a frightful gold brocade. I started making allowance for the crazy essence of turning that make straight into a Cranach. There was enough virid fabric left to do sudden gust; short/slash sleeves. I have this fine Schumacher brocade lampas that has a accurate green undertone which would gaze good with the virid velvet (but imposing with red).

The problem is that the aboriginal dress isn't very circuit.
The skirt isn't broad enough for a Cranach.
And the cut isn't very circuit either.
And it would be a shame to use the schumacher fabric on something that I still wouldn't be gay with.

But I figured that I'm never wearing the align anyways so I might as well have some fun with it.
And I realised that the Schumacher fabric part runs the unfair way, with the brocade exemplar lying down on the side for the extent of the fabric, meaning I can't create a corset or something out of it.
And it wouldn't be enough for a veritable Cranach with that circuit width in the loose part.

I love the Schumacher but it was very low-priced, and I don't have anything else planned for it.
