Here is my big get done for 2007!This rug is about 24" X 30" - it is done in a mix of cuts 3,4,5 and 6. I have to give confidence to 3 teachers who helped with the shade plan and dyeing of the wool for this rug. Vivily Powers did the cent compote and the fruit, Diane Stoffel was the creative aptitude on the monkey and by stipulation the border and Katie Puckett was the designer of the rug and also with the understanding the backround and the awesome joining of the carpet mat which was not in the primary design.This rug was awarded 3rd square at the Ocean rug offer for inspection in Jan 08 in the comminuted cut division. I was very pleased with this recollection.I don't know why I even have a blog - I promised myself I would make one's self acquainted with to use my digital camera and create WIP photos and keep my blog updated more often. Ha - if anything I am worse than I was before not good in a higher degree!I like to peruse my friends blogs and see their projects in advance - It is a way to keep up with them when you are not able to see or speak to them that frequently. It is also a advantageous way to show your finishes to friends and acquaintances that may not be alive in your area of the geographical division or world for that body. I hope to do more good.2008 has been very occupied for me - I'll recap the highlights so farJanuary was "off the Great deep" rug camp - I took Diane Stoffel again and started a very singular canvas that I purchased at the ATHA public in New Orleans in the descend from a well known Texas designer Bea Bawson. It is her Angel Pattern and is full of 6 angels and all sorts of motifs - it is a very engaged canvas with very small backround. Diane did a spectacular job on the tinge plan altho' initially...
