Hi nation, Brini here with another digression for your viewing delight. This week weâre delving into needlepoint! Itâs a fascinating craft and so light to do. The project that Iâm laboring on in the show is Clyde the Camel and heâs ever so much fun. 

One of the stitches we detail this duration around are the tent sew, which when done diagonally creates a basket plant on the back of the canvas. The sense we do the stitch in this original is to reduce wryness of the canvas because each diagonal streak pulls the canvas in the over against direction of the last, care the canvas much more quadrilateral and equiangular than if you work the sew together across or down. 

The other sew together I demonstrated is the satin sew. It can be done vertically, horizontally or diagonally and covers more than one crossing of the canvas. The equidistant throughout stitches call into existence a smooth exterior thatâs pleasant to the hit.
