Hard Times are Coming
We lack to do some work on the domicile over the next year or so.
We've promised Gemma that we'll do out the athenian for her and she can have a studio mark apartment up there - no kitchen though rightful lounge, bedroom and a shower space. We also want to put a tiny conservatory on the back of the dwelling-place overlooking the garden.
Also after all the avocation with the rain approach in my workroom we extremity a new roof.
Now as you can fancy this is not going to be low-priced, even using a very good builder. We've got 90% of the currency we need from the dike, we extended the pledge slightly. The quiescence we are going to have to rescue, and save unyielding.
This means no luxuries and yes this includes pile. As from now I'm on a very strict edifice diet. Aside from my BOM kit that I get from the LQS every month, no more building for me. Luckily I've got a fairly big stash so I'll still be sewing. I've lined up a pair of scrap quilts to do and the online assemblage Quilting for all is holding a rivalship to make a quilt solely out of your stash. I've got one designed and I'll be construction it over the next couple of weeks.
The one advantageous thing that will draw near out of this, apart from the event that the house will be bigger is that I will get Gemma's old bedroom as a new sewing range. I'll be going from my 6' x 6' sewing range into a new 13' x 10' sewing play, and should there be any money left over Malcolm has related that I can get a quilting frame if I want one.
I've got to get clinch of the architect that will, hopefully pull some plans up and submit them to the limited council for planning warrant. When this goes through then hopefully the operate will begin in the Fall of the leaf. I will then be in for about 3 or 4 months of dish and noise - Sweet.
